Bernadette Plese – Eighth Grade – Jr. High Science

I attended Illinois State University where I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Education degree.  I taught in the public schools for a few years before teaching at St. Rose School.  I then taught Physical Education at St. Rose and coached volleyball and cheerleading at Wilmington High School.

I earned my Masters of Science in Education from the University of Saint Francis.  Since then I have been homeroom teacher for grade 6 and now grade 8.  I teach religion and the junior high science classes.

I have two grown children that were both also graduates of Saint Rose School.

As a graduate myself of St. Rose School and a lifelong member of St. Rose parish, I have a strong connection to this school and to the parish.  I strongly believe in Catholic education and the values it instills in its graduates. Catholic education challenges students academically while helping to form positive values and morals that will last a lifetime.  I am proud to be a part of St. Rose School and a part of our students lives.
